I love yellow-yellow flowers and sunshine at this time of year. Here, the crocus are just barely showing colour. The only real blooms are the snowdrops I posted last week. The yellows I prefer are daffodils, forsythia, and I just love dandelions on green lawns in the spring. As good as the first robin.

Once, I rented a second-floor apartment, because it was October and there was a chestnut tree on the front lawn -- brilliant yellow leaves right out the living room window.
